The Pinnacle Inn Resort is centered in the northwestern part of North Carolina in the beautiful High Country area.  Located in eastern America's highest resort community, Beech Mountain, with unparalleled scenery and abundance of activities make for an exceptional vacation experience.

The Pinnacle Inn Resort is a year round all inclusive resort property with suites as well as one and two bedroom condominiums.

All are complete with full kitchens, cozy living rooms, fireplaces, cable TV, and telephone.  All of our  condominiums are privately owned so they are individual in taste and style.

Our All Seasons Center offers indoor heated pool, 4 indoor hot tubs, steam room, dry sauna, exercise room, recreation area (including ping pong, pool table, electronic games and more).

For your convenience we also have an on-site laundry room.  On our spacious grounds are two tennis courts, miniature golf, shuffleboard and playground.

For small business meetings, retreats or groups we have a centrally located meeting room and we can provide fax and copy services.
Beech Mountain is a 4-season resort community with tons of wonderful activities such as golf, skiing, hiking, biking and more.

Skiing - Ahhhh the Skiing!  Ski Beech can be seen from our resort property and offers 14 slopes and trails, snow tubing, Ice Skating and all sorts of family fun!

Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring...they ALL offer wonderful scenery, festivals, and activities that make each an exciting time to visit the High Country.

From the East Coast of Florida:
Take I-95 North to I-26, then take I-26 to Spartanburg, SC, then take I-85 North toward Charlotte for about 6 miles. Exit onto US 221 North and stay on US 221 all the way to Linville, NC.  Watch out for the "bypass" in Marion - the speed limit is strictly enforced! In Linville, turn right and go about one mile to the traffic light in NC 105.  Turn left and go four miles to the traffic light at NC 184. (Lowes grocery is at this intersection).   At that intersection, turn left and go four miles into downtown Banner Elk.   At the next traffic light (Exxon is on left) , turn left and go two blocks to a fork in the road.  Take the right fork and go four miles to the top of Beech Mountain.  You will see the sign for The Pinnacle on your right as you enter into Beech Mountain.
From Atlanta, South Georgia, or the west coast of Florida:
Take I-85 North toward Charlotte for about 170 miles. Exit onto US 221 North and stay on US 221 all the way to Linville, NC.  Watch out for the "bypass" in Marion - the speed limit is strictly enforced! In Linville, turn right and go about one mile to the traffic light in NC 105.  Turn left and go four miles to the traffic light at NC 184. From Raleigh, Eastern North Carolina, Outer Banks, etc.
Get to Winston-Salem the best way possible...and then pickup US 421 out of Winston to Boone, turn left onto Hwy 105.  Take Hwy 105 (13) miles to the traffic light at Hwy 184 and turn right. (Lowes grocery is at this intersection).   At that intersection, turn left and go four miles into downtown Banner Elk.   At the next traffic light (Exxon is on left) , turn left and go two blocks to a fork in the road.  Take the right fork and go four miles to the top of Beech Mountain.  You will see the sign for The Pinnacle on your right as you enter into Beech Mountain.

From Far Western North Carolina, Asheville, Waynesville, Murphy, Cherokee, Franklin:
Get to Asheville the most efficient way possible.  Take I-40 East to the foot of the mountain and exit onto US 70 at Old Fort.  Take US 70 to Hwy 221.  You go past Wal-Mart in Marion and follow US 221 north all the way to Linville, NC.  Watch out for the "bypass" in Marion - the speed limit is strictly enforced! In Linville, turn right and go about one mile to the traffic light in NC 105.  Turn left and go four miles to the traffic light at NC 184. (Lowes grocery is at this intersection).   At that intersection, turn left and go four miles into downtown Banner Elk.   At the next traffic light (Exxon is on left) , turn left and go two blocks to a fork in the road.  Take the right fork and go four miles to the top of Beech Mountain.  You will see the sign for The Pinnacle on your right as you enter into Beech Mountain.
From East Tennessee, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, Kentucky:
Get to Knoxville...then take I-40 east to I-81.  Take I-81 north to I-181 into Johnson City.  Exit off I-181 onto TN 67 to Elizabethton...thru Elizabethton and pickup US 321 and US 19-E to Hampton and Roan Mountain.  Stay on 19-E thru Roan Mountain and thru Elk Park, NC.  At the TIME SQUARE motel outside of Elk Park, turn left onto NC 194 to Banner Elk.  As you pass the Elk River Air Strip slow down and watch for the left turn to Beech Mountain. Go four miles to the top of Beech Mountain.  You will see the sign for The Pinnacle on your right as you enter into Beech Mountain.
