Country Road Cabins offer comfortable, deluxe, one - four-bedroom log cabin vacation rentals in West Virginia. Each rental cabin is fully furnished so all you have to do is relax. In addition to all linens and towels, you'll even find all the extras like coffee, filters, tea, sugar, creamer, salt and pepper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. We've tried to think of everything so you won't have to!

Our cabins are available year-round and are located in a scenic wooded area near two National Recreation Areas and near two great ski resorts. Winterplace Ski Resort is only 75 minutes away by four-lane highway and the best whitewater rafting in the East is only minutes away at Adventures Mountain River. There, you can also find adventure trips that combine whitewater rafting on the New River and Gauley River with mountain biking, rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, and other fun activities. Most trips even include your meals!

Southern West Virginia offers many opportunities for recreational activities and relaxation. Country Road Cabins provides 12 newly built, luxurious log cabins for family groups in a scenic wooded area near two national recreation areas.

Owners Paul and Jennifer Breuer have tried to think of everything to make their guests feel at home. Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, color TV/VCR with Dish Network cable, telephone, spacious deck with hot tub and gas grill, wood or gas fireplace (except the Cherokee) and central heating and cooling. There are also lots of extra amenities like bed linens and towels, morning coffee and tea, filters, creamer, paper towels, etc.

Our Romantic Cabin Getaway is based on availability of our 1 bedroom cabins at Sun-Thur $150 nightly and Fri-Sat $170 nightly plus taxes. This package includes cabin with your own private hot tub, fireplace, complimentary bottle of champagne or sparkling cider. Of course you can always add amenities to this package. Just check with us for special rates on flowers, cheese / fruit basket, breakfast ideas or items for that romantic dinner for 2. Holiday weekends excluded.

Visit our cabins and combine a stay with a round of golf at one of our local golf courses. Southern West Virginia is a great golf destination with our temperate climate, low humidity, scenic vistas, peace and quiet and watchable wildlife. We offer nearly year round golf far away from the noisy crowds combined with a luxury cabin stay.

Fish / Cabin Getaways

Experience some of the finest small bass fishing on the East Coast with your own personal fishing guide on the New River combined with a stay at our luxury cabins. Or choose a fishing trip on the Gauley River at Summersville Lake and look for walleye, bass or catfish. Our guides are professional and can maneuver you to lucrative fishing spots where 1-3 pound catches are very common. A deli style lunch is provided along with snacks and beverages after the trip. You can fish as long as you desire or as long as daylight allows. You need to supply your own tackle, rod and reel and also purchase your required state fishing license locally. Packages are customized and prices very depending on group size.

Raft and Relax Package

Come experience the "Grand Canyon of the East" on one of the most consistent flows of Class III - V whitewater in North America. Enjoy 12-16 miles of world class whitewater as you paddle through a variety of rapids with names like "Surprise", "Double Z" and "Miller's Folley". Enjoy a continental breakfast at our headquarters before you depart and a delicious deli style lunch is also served riverside. We also include a beverage for your bus ride back and complimentary hot popcorn as you view your day's trip video and photos. Then soak in your own private hot tub at your deluxe log cabin rental after the trip. Dinners can also be added to this package.
