We are less than a 15 minute drive from the Swift Run Gap entrance to the Shenandoah Nation Park, Skyline and Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Appalachian Trail. We are roughly mid-way on the Appalachian Trail with about 1200 miles of trail South and 1200 miles of trail North! If you so choose, you can drive up South River fronting our farms, park and then hike the fireroad to Shenandoah National Park and the Appalachian Trial. We are convenient to historic sites such as Monticello, Montpelier, Ash Lawn and University of Virginia. We are close to a number of excellent wineries nearby.
